Avatars are the visual representations of people who are currently inhabiting the PlanetVirtuel virtual environment. Wherever you see an avatar, there is another person using PlanetVirtuel just like yourself. This is the Avatar of Voomom, one of the Founders of PlanetVirtuel, Internet Cybersociety.

You can choose your own avatar at any time while visiting PlanetVirtuel. Most planets have both male and female avatars available to choose from. Some planets even have non-human avatars available.

Avatars often move in a lifelike manner as they walk around PlanetVirtuel, or even when they are standing in place. Avatars also typically have one or several gestures they can perform. For example, if you are having trouble getting someone's attention, try waving!
