Building Code |
PlanetVirtuel Building Code The following represents the General Building Code for the Planets and Universes operated by PlanetVirtuel Studios. This building code was created in order to offer PlanetVirtuel Citizens the best possible all-around value in PlanetVirtuel Citizenship. This code can and will be modified over time, in order to keep up with the changing circumstances and conditions within the Universe. The PlanetVirtuel Building Code, may change at any time and without notice at the sole discretion of PlanetVirtuel Studios.
Keep your builds scaled to a reasonable size, in proportion to your Avatar. It is wise both in matters of practicality and in performance, to think small and use simplicity in building projects. Use the large "h" designated walk piece series objects, (such as walk028h.rwx, ect) to cover your land. This is the easiest and most efficient way to completely cover and secure the land claim, because by using ground cover from the walk "h" series you will not only be assured that your property will cover uniformly, but also, you will be using as little cell space as possible in covering the land.
Cover it squarely, line it up properly, and make sure to leave no gaps between your panels and the adjacent property panels if there are any. Others can build upon any exposed ground, so do not leave ANY at your building site. Do not claim nor cover excessive amounts of land. To do so may result in the Deletion of the entire property, and repeated land claims in excess of the allotted size can result in ejection from the Planet, or in being banned from the Galaxy entirely. The MAXIMUM amount of land that can be claimed at a Citizen's building site, is Six (6) walk028h.rwx type pieces long, by Six (6) walk028h.rwx panels wide, which consists of a square total maximum area of 36 walk028h.rwx panels in size. Where allowed, each Citizen is entitled to ONLY one land claim per Planet. To return to General PlanetVirtuel Galaxy Building Information click Here
Beginning with PlanetVirtuel 3.3, if 3-axis rotation is enabled on the Planet, you can also use the
/ and * keys and the Home and End keys on the numeric keypad to rotate the object around
the X and Z axes, respectively. Using the right combination of X, Y, and Z-axis rotation,
an object can be placed at any possible orientation. You can also left-click and drag
on a selected object to free rotate it into any orientation.
Building Sounds
PlanetVirtuel 3.4 now supports the concept of
Building Sounds.
Building sounds can be turned on or off in the
General Settings
dialog.
Do not overbuild your property or use an excessive amount of objects or action line commands.
